3rd Degree Reiki

Aka “Reiki Master Practitioner”

Reiki meditations, advanced techniques, connecting to guides, the deeper how's and why's of Reiki, are a few of the topics. A deeper review of all the symbols, expanded information on their meanings, and uses beyond healing are covered, and practiced.

We recommend having had your 2nd degree for at least 6 months in order to allow for the personal development, and deepening of your understanding that results from applying the 2nd degree material. Not yet a student of Laura Magpali & Paul Nelson? Certificates of1st and 2nd degrees requested.

Reiki Master Teacher

This level is taught one to one, apprentice style. How long it takes depends on the student's level of proficiency, preparation, confidence, and their personal goals in becoming a teacher of Reiki, generally 6 - 18 months.

Our chief concern is that the prospective Master Teacher have an active, in-depth relationship with, and undestanding of Reiki, have an avid desire to teach, and demontrate the ability to do so. It's not enough to know the topic for yourself. Our master teacher training is geared to help prepare the Reiki master practitioner to take on the instructor role. Our training supports the prospective Reiki teacher to come from a place of depth in the practical application and understanding of Reiki. 

The Master Teacher training has 4 basic parts, several of which may overlap at times during the training. Each part is $175.
Note: part 2 has an additional cost.

1.) You will attend and participate in all 3 levels of the Reiki classes, from a prospective teacher's view. This will contribute a good deal to speed your readiness. You'll be taking notes from the viewpoint of things like, what order do the topics go in? How long does it take to do an attunement? How much time does it take to explain the history, what practice techniques do I want to offer, table drills, etc. How long do they take to do? etc.

As you feel ready, you will assist in presenting various topics in the classes. This will give you practice seeing how well you are able to say out loud what seems so obvious inside your head, and how long it takes to cover a topic. It'll give you practice interacting with the students, and we'll be there to fill in whatever we may feel needs to be added.

We offer the opportunity for the prospective teacher to practice presenting the materials as often as they want to, and to attend as many of our classes (no additional charge) as they wish, in order to become confident teachers. Most Master Teachers have continued attending various classes even after they were certified to teach, motivated because they'd not realized until actually doing it how much more complex it was to make a class be really complete. There's a certain choreography to it, you could say, that can make it flow more smoothly. We want to help you be as successful as possible!

2.) Participation with commitment to complete our 12 month Advanced Reiki Training class. This class supports a deeping of experience and understanding of the broader personal growth and self-care applications. More information on the Advanced Reiki Training page, including additional costs. Note: you may recieve your master teacher attunement w/certificate prior to completetion of the ART class, depending on how the timing of things go. However, completion of the ART class is required. 

3.) You will have made your own first degree manual. I'll encourage you to make use of as many Reiki books and articles as you wish. Some articles are in the Reiki magazines. There are Reiki books written from numersous angles. The process of putting on paper what you will be teaching will be very beneficial, add invaluable confidence to you. It might not be your last version of it, but it will be your energetic declaration. 

4.) Paul and I will teach you about the Master Attunement symbol(s), and how to pass them. You will develop your personal ceremonial ritual, based on the principles within the elements of the Reiki attunement. You may then assist in passing attunements in our classes, as well as yourown classes. 

Included in your training are my offers help for your first class(es) - how that looks will depend on you and your needs and goals are at that time. It may be that I help you identify marketing venues, it may be that I come to your first class(es) as a back-up support, enabling you to do the parts you're strongest in, and I can handle the miscellaneous details, like helping with time management. Perhaps you want a sounding board after you do your class.
